A native Coloradan, born in Jefferson County. Mike graduated from Revere High School, Ovid CO in 1980. He has an Associate degree from Aims Community College in Greeley, and a Bachelor degree from CSU in Marketing/Management.

He is also a certified high school teacher in Colorado. Mike has 3 kids that he has raised by himself for the last 9 years. Mike lives in Ovid Colorado and works for Spirit Stone, an architectural stone company out of Sidney Nebraska.
