Perry Buck is the president and CEO of Northern Colorado Event Planning,
LLC. Before starting her new business she was the vice-president of Business
Development of Cache Bank and Trust and served in that capacity for four years.
In 1999, Perry Buck was appointed by Governor Owens as the Northeast Business Development Representative for the Colorado Office of Economic Development. She helped facilitate economic development in the rural communities from Jackson and Grand County in the West to Phillip, Sedgwick County in the Northeast down to Cheyenne, Lincoln, and Elbert County.
Prior to joining the Owens Administration, Perry Buck worked in Greeley, Colorado at 1st Choice Bank as a mortgage and consumer lender. She has also worked as an Account Executive for Citibank Arizona a subsidiary of Citicorp and Public Relations Coordinator for McDonald’s Food.
Perry went to Greeley West High School where she earned nine letters in track, swimming, tennis and basketball. In 1984, Perry graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California with a degree in English. She did her graduate work in accounting at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Perry is involved in many civic organizations, including United Way of Weld County Board of Directors, Board of Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, Weld County Chamber of Commerce, Senior Resource Services, Rotary, Women Development Council, Weld County Republican Party and serves on the Board of Progressive 15. She formally served four years as the Vice-Chair of the State Republican Party and is past board member of Weld County Partners, Schaffer Enterprises, Habitat for Humanity and Greeley Philharmonic Symphony.
Perry is married to the District Attorney, Ken Buck, and has two step children Cody who is 22 and is attending West Point and Kaitlin who is 19 and attends Clemson College. They live in the country outside of Greeley, Colorado. Perry enjoys gardening, sports and reading.
