Kari Linker, Morgan County Economic Development Corporation

Kari Linker is the Executive Director of the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation, a position she has held since January of 2007. As Executive Director, Kari leads economic development efforts throughout Morgan County, a role that includes working with businesses and site selectors considering sites in the county. Prior to serving as Executive Director, Kari was a part-time Marketing Coordinator for the organization, a position she held for more than four years.
Kari became interested in economic development while working as an employment services professional for Express Personnel, a staffing support and human resources company, in Fort Morgan. She took this position in 1998 upon moving back to Morgan County after a 13-year career in retail, during which she managed a four-state region as a District Manager for County Seat Stores.
Kari Linker was born and raised on a farm in Brush, CO, and graduated from Brush High School. She attended the Fashion Institute of Denver and earned a degree in merchandising and marketing. She also cares deeply about the education of Morgan County students and implemented a grant-based bully prevention program in the Brush school district.
